There is no rush with Valentina—she just needs people willing to meet her where she is and celebrate every small victory along the way. She can be nervous around men, though she has never shown any aggression. Her fear simply means she needs understanding and gentle guidance from people willing to earn her trust. For this reason, she may be happiest in a female-only household or with a family that understands fearful dogs and is committed to helping her continue her journey. Valentina gets along great with other dogs with proper introductions. She also finds being left alone difficult. However, thanks to the dedication of her foster mum, she has already made remarkable progress and continues to improve. She is a clever girl who enjoys learning and benefits greatly from mental stimulation, enrichment activities, and positive reinforcement training that keeps both her mind and her confidence growing. What makes Valentina so special is watching her blossom.
