Description
She has the sweetest nature and a real zest for life, but she’s very much a young “teenager” who thrives on plenty of exercise and is still learning that not everything is a game. She adores scent work, frisbee, and ball games and she’s a quick learner who is highly food motivated, which makes training easier.
With minimal distractions she has good recall and already knows some basic commands. However, she is a strong girl and can become selectively “deaf” when something exciting catches her attention, so continued lead work and distraction training will be important.
Fig is currently living with cats, but she can be quite boisterous with them, which some cats may find overwhelming. She is affectionate and friendly with people and other dogs, though her enthusiasm can tip into over excitement at times. For this reason, we would not recommend a home with young children.
