Meet Betsy! Betsy is a lovely, nearly two-year-old Sprollie who is full of energy, affection, and intelligence. True to her breed, she is a bright, active girl who could play fetch all day long and thrives on having a job to do! The Great Stuff: Brilliant Obedience: She boasts fantastic recall (to both a whistle and her name) and has mastered her basic commands—including sit, stay, and lay down. Great with Kids: She is wonderfully gentle and great with young children. Crate Trained: She is fully crate-trained, happily sleeping in her crate overnight and resting comfortably in it during the day. Things to Work On: On the Lead & Greetings: She pulls quite a bit on the lead when walking and can be a bit jumpy when greeting people. She can also be a little nervous around new faces initially, so she benefits from calm, confident introductions. Resource Guarding: Betsy is protective of her toys and belongings around other dogs. She will growl or show her teeth to set boundaries if another dog tries to take her things, though she has never been aggressive or attacked. A home experienced with resource guarding would suit her best. Reason for Rehoming: With two full-time jobs and two young children, we simply no longer have the time to give Betsy the high amount of daily exercise, lead-work training, and active attention she thrives on. We want to find her a wonderful home that can give her the time and lifestyle she truly deserves
