Our beautiful Tosca — now called Zara by her family — needs a new home again. 💔
And this one really hurts, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with this wonderful young girl.
Her foster-to-adopt family love her and, in different circumstances, would keep her in a heartbeat. Sadly, their particular family circumstances, including caring for two children with significant additional needs, have made them realise that the home simply isn't the right environment for an energetic young dog.
It has been an incredibly difficult decision for them, but one made with Tosca's future in mind.
❤️ We desperately hope her next move will finally be her LAST. She absolutely deserves it, because she really is one of the sweetest girls you could dream of.
🐾 Meet Tosca
Tosca is around 10 months old, a lower-medium girl, full of happiness, affection and personality. She is a loving little shadow who wants to be wherever her people are — your walking buddy, playmate and sofa snuggle partner all rolled into one. 🥰

🐾 More About Tosca
Her current family describe her as friendly, affectionate, gentle and absolutely full of personality.
She LOVES people and wants to be involved in everything. She can have a wonderful burst of puppy zoomies and enthusiastic play, then happily curl up beside you on the sofa for cuddles. ❤️
She has been brilliant around the family's children and gets on very well with their Labrador. Like any young dog, sometimes her play becomes a little too enthusiastic and she still needs guidance to understand when another dog or person has had enough. This is one of the reasons her current family feel their particular circumstances aren't suitable for her — their children have significant additional needs, and Tosca is simply too young to consistently understand when a child needs space.
This isn't aggression or bad behaviour. She's a happy, loving youngster who is still learning appropriate boundaries.
She absolutely LOVES her walks and is very food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. She is doing brilliantly with her puppy training, is keen to please and learns incredibly quickly.
And when we say food motivated... we mean FOOD MOTIVATED. 😂 Cupboards and bins are fascinating places in Tosca's world, so her future family will need to be one step ahead and keep tempting treasures safely out of reach.
She is also still an enthusiastic young chewer, so a good collection of appropriate chews will keep both Tosca and your furniture happy! 😄
Most importantly, Tosca is incredibly loving. She wants connection, companionship and affection. She would much rather spend her life beside her people than regularly be left alone.

🏡 Ideal Home
Tosca would thrive with an active, loving family who have time for walks, play, continued positive training and lots of cuddles.
Someone around for a good part of the day would be ideal, as she is very much a people dog and won't enjoy regularly spending long hours alone.
She could happily live with another friendly, playful and emotionally balanced dog, and a secure garden would give her somewhere to enjoy those famous puppy zoomies.
A family with older, dog-savvy children would suit her beautifully. She needs people who understand that at 10 months old she is still a youngster — wonderfully sweet and clever, but still learning that not everything belongs in her mouth and sometimes playtime has to end. ❤️
💞 Tosca has already had more changes than such a young dog should have to experience.
Yet she remains happy. She remains trusting. She remains affectionate. She still believes every new person could become her best friend.
There is nothing "wrong" with Tosca. Sometimes even the loveliest dogs are simply unlucky with circumstances beyond their control.
🙏 This time, we want to find the family who will be there for all her tomorrows. She deserves to finally stop moving and simply be HOME. ❤️

Tosca is fully healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are Canine Brucella tested before travelling to the UK (licensed laboratory certificate provided).
