🦜 Female Lord Derbyan Moustache Parakeet – Looking for the Right Home 🦜 Our beautiful 12-month-old female Lord Derbyan Moustache Parakeet is looking for a new home where she can get the time, attention and patience she deserves. She is not hand-tame, and she isn't particularly keen on hands, but she will happily come to us for food and will often sit on us and explore when she feels comfortable. She is a lovely little character who likes to do things on her own terms — including deciding when it's time to go back into her cage! 😂 Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed and we simply aren't home anywhere near enough to give her the amount of out-of-cage time, interaction and companionship she needs. Because of this, we feel it would be unfair to keep her when we can't give her the life she deserves. We're therefore looking for a loving, experienced and patient home that can give her plenty of time and attention. She will need someone who understands that she won't become tame overnight and is prepared to build a relationship with her at her own pace. ❤️ TIME & PATIENCE are absolutely essential. This isn't an easy decision, so finding the right home for her is far more important to us than anything else. We want her to go somewhere she'll be loved, given plenty of freedom and allowed to settle in and trust her new family in her own time. Please only enquire if you can genuinely offer her the time, patience and commitment she needs.
