Description
‘Diego’ after the famous footballer &
because he looks like he could score a goal
with you. 1-2yrs (in his prime) & living with
cats ©
My personality in my own words
I’m an affable Chappie who knows how to
make my own fortune because I followed my
rescuer home. I really didn’t want to stay
homeless and I was looking for a ‘taker’
after I was abandoned. I hadn’t done
anything wrong I’m just a casualty of
cruelty & indifference I’m told. I’m so loving
& instantly accepted the dogs greeting me
& the cats. I didn’t pay much attention to
the felines though liked to be with them &
even when they arched at me, the new
arrival, I took it in my stride.
I enjoy walking, good on the leash without
training & have buckets loads of love to give
whilst desperately searching for it myself.
This pretty much describes so many of my
homeless brothers and sisters. We are not
defined by our sad existences and most of
us never stop putting our faith in humans.
Leesa the owner of the Charity ‘Break the
chains BG/UK’ was asked by the rescuer
who let me tag alone
😊
if she would home
me. Leesa despite having her own rescues
and many others looking for adoptions, said
yes. She’s homed many for my carer &
enjoys spending time with us. I’m just
thankful that I stumbled across good
hearted people though it’s a lifelong
companion that I’m told I need & I’m
wondering if that’s you?
I’m charming, younger than Diego
Maradona that I was named after I’ll fit right
into your lives & household. Leesa said that
I’m such a handsome boy that I’m
irresistible & I’m just as beautiful on the inside
My history. As I didn’t have someone like
you to cherish me there isn’t a great deal
to say
I only know that an unkind person was so
callous that they abandoned me one day
and wouldn’t have cared if I’d have died. I
didn’t do anything wrong but you don’t have
to, to be considered worthless to some
people. Some time after I saw a lady
walking past. She didn’t ignore me or shout
at me to go away so I took a chance and
followed her to what turned out to be her
home. I was so brave & I’m such a friendly
boy so I enjoyed trotting happily by her
side. I’ll learn recall quickly as I want to be
with my people. It’s lonely being a homeless
dog as we’re meant to have friends and
family so I was desperate to belong and be
accepted.
I’d be very happy to be the hearth of your
home & seek out adventures when we’re
not watching films on a rainy Sunday
afternoon.
