It absolutely breaks my heart to write this, but I’m looking for the perfect forever home for my beautiful little boy, Cleo. Cleo is a 2-year-old Chinese Crested x Chihuahua. I got him when he was just a tiny puppy, and he’s been such a special part of my life. Unfortunately, after I became pregnant and had my baby, I had to ask my sister to care for him. She has loved him dearly, but she’s now expecting a baby herself, and with three cats in the home, it’s no longer the right environment for him. Cleo is the most loving little dog. He adores cuddles and loves curling up in bed beside you at night. He’s playful, affectionate, and always gets lots of attention when we’re out and about because of his unique, adorable looks and friendly nature. He can be a little fussy with food and much prefers fresh foods like chicken or other bits from the fridge over dry dog food. At the moment, he does need some work with toilet training. I genuinely believe this has become an issue because he’s living with cats and has picked up the habit of scent marking around the house. With patience, consistency, and a calm home, I think he’ll do really well. This is not a decision I’ve made lightly, and I’m in tears writing this. I love him so much, but I know he deserves a home where he can have the time, attention, and stability he needs. I’m looking for someone who will love Cleo as much as I do—a kind, patient, and attentive home where he’ll be treated as part of the family. His welfare is my priority, and I won’t let him go to just anyone.
