Bekki arrived to what everyone hoped would become her forever home. And honestly? She settled beautifully from the very first moment. But sadly, the resident little dog simply can not cope with Bekki’s constant desire for connection, closeness and playful interaction.
Bekki is young. She LOVES people. And she also LOVES dogs: she seeks reassurance and friendship from them. She wants companionship, cuddles, play and togetherness. And unfortunately, the resident dog became increasingly stressed and unhappy with this attention.

“I cannot fault Bekki. She has settled in wonderfully. She is toilet trained, has slept from 11pm–6am, is super friendly and has wanted cuddles since the moment I picked her up. She has so much love to give. Bekki has never shown an ounce of aggression but her play style has just proved too much for my small nervous resident dog.”

Bekki comes from Zaporizhzhia, a frontline city in Ukraine where dogs are abandoned every single day as survival becomes impossible for many families.
She made it out alive and into safety… but her happy ending is still waiting for her.
🐾 More About Bekki
Bekki is one of those dogs who loves with her entire little soul. She immediately wants closeness, cuddles and emotional connection. She doesn’t just “like” company — she truly needs it.
She is incredibly affectionate, social and people-oriented, but another dog is equally important for her emotional wellbeing.
And this is something we now know for certain after her trial home.
Bekki absolutely blossoms around other dogs and seeks comfort, reassurance and play from them. But because she is still very young, playful and emotionally open, she needs the RIGHT dog — a friendly, confident, playful companion around her own size or slightly bigger, who will enjoy her gentle, but still youthful energy rather than feel overwhelmed by it.
The family describes her as goofy, clumsy and hilarious — her paws still seem too big for her body and she falls over, into and off things constantly.
“She will make the perfect family pet and would do well in a busier environment because she loves being involved in everything.”
She loves cuddles, follows people happily, settles beautifully in the home, sleeps through the night and has shown absolutely no aggression whatsoever. And yes — apparently no drink is safe around Bekki because she quickly decides every glass belongs to her too. 💛

She would thrive in an active loving home where she is included in daily life, surrounded by companionship, affection and interaction.
