Description

Our lovely girl Rosie welcomed seven gorgeous puppies on 29 July 2026. We have five boys and two girls: six are black, some with little white markings, and one is a beautiful brown girl. Rosie is our much-loved Fox Red Labrador. She is affectionate, obedient, wonderful with our family and has always been very easy to train.  She really has been the perfect family dog. The puppies are being raised in our home near Ballachulish, surrounded by children, everyday household noises and other family dogs.  As they grow, they will also have safe, supervised exposure to chickens, horses and our rural surroundings. The puppies’ father is currently unknown (whoops!), so they are being advertised honestly as Labrador-cross or mixed-breed puppies.  Our inclination is probably another Labrador, or perhaps Collie - we should have a better sense as time goes on. Rosie and the puppies are not KC registered, although Rosie’s parents were working dogs on the Glenlivet Estate and her dad was field trial champion “Crowers Comet”! We believe in being completely open with prospective owners, and you are very welcome to come and visit before making a decision and there will be no pressure to commit.  Finding the right home for the puppies is very important to us. Important for you to know that Mum has a history of occasional seizures, and although none of the puppies show signs of similar there is a chance this trait is passed on.  Full details will be discussed openly with prospective owners. Viewings are welcome from 26 August, when the puppies can be seen at home with Rosie. They will be ready to leave from 23 September, once they are eight weeks old. Each puppy will leave having been vet checked, microchipped, given their first vaccination and wormed. They will also receive their health records and a puppy pack containing their current food, a feeding and routine guide, a scent blanket and a small toy.
