🌟 FINN NEEDS A SECOND CHANCE AT FINDING HIS HAPPY EVER AFTER 🌟
Finn – 3-Year-Old Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home
Meet Finn, a handsome 3-year-old mixed-breed boy weighing 42kg (although he could do with shedding a few kilos). We think he may be a Labrador cross with Turkish Akbash heritage, and he certainly has many of the loyal, protective, family-oriented traits associated with the breed. Finn was rescued in Cyprus and is currently living in Newport Pagnell.
Finn is a huge softie with a wonderful temperament. He absolutely adores people and children and loves nothing more than being close to his family. Whether he's lying at your feet, sitting beside you on the sofa, or hoping for a belly rub, Finn is happiest when he's included in family life.
About Finn:
• House trained and very clean indoors.
• Sleeps well through the night.
• Walks beautifully on the lead.
• Friendly and affectionate with people and children.
• Generally good with other dogs and loves playing off lead.
• Enjoys car journeys
• Healthy with no known medical issues.
• Loves being groomed and brushed.
• Enjoys chew toys, enrichment toys, and tasty treats.
Things to Know:
• Recall needs work and will require ongoing training.
• Can be reactive towards some larger dogs when on lead.
• Will happily help himself to food left on worktops or tables.
• Not crate trained.
• Can open doors, so a secure home is essential.
• Has some guardian breed instincts and will alert you to visitors or unusual activity around the home.
• Prefers to be near his people and would thrive in a home where he has plenty of company.
Finn is now past the boisterous puppy stage and has become a calm, laid-back companion. While he enjoys his walks, he isn't a high-energy dog and is equally happy relaxing with his family. He's a bit of a clown, loves attention, offers his paw regularly, and has a particular weakness for cheese, belly rubs, and having his bottom scratched!
Why is Finn looking for a new home?
Sadly, due to a change in family circumstances and working commitments, Finn is spending longer alone than is ideal. He deserves a home where he can enjoy more companionship, stimulation, and time with people who adore him as much as his current family does.
Finn would suit a loving family or individual who understands large breeds and can continue his training, particularly with recall and consistency. In return, you'll gain a loyal, affectionate, funny, and devoted best friend.
💛 If you think you could offer Finn the forever home he deserves, we'd love to hear from you.
