Description
Eden was originally sold as a puppy and spent her first 9 months with a family, who returned her to the Breader for rehoming due to a conflict with the owners existing standard Schnauzer.
We had recently lost our beautiful GIant at a similar age due to a brain tumour and learned about Eden who was a perfect fit for us.
She is very well behaved, affectionate, really good off the lead, plays very well with other dogs outside on walks etc and has excellent guarding instincts and has been great, BUT she doesn’t play well with another dog in the home.
She has unfortunately attacked to of our children’s dogs who have visited us, even after playing nicely in the garden, but once in the home she doesn’t like them. (Obviously a territorial issue, but has left us in a position where we have to find her a new home as our family will no longer visit with their dogs etc.
We are very sad to see her go and she is a lovely dog but needs a home where other dogs won’t need to come in the house.
Pro’s
Very nice, happy, attentive dog that will protect you and your home and will give you lots of exercise and fun.
She is playful, is addicted to tennis balls and loves lots of attention.
Great on and off the lead.
Great on the car.
Plays well with other dogs on walks and play groups etc, plenty of videos to prove this.
If you don’t give her attention when she needs it, she will run off with a pair of your pants, a slipper etc to make sure you come and play with her.
She is 14 months so is still a puppy of course.
We walk her 2 to 3 miles in the morning, and similar at night and she will let you work from home, but will expect 5 mins of your time every hour or so.
She sleeps through the night from 11 until 6 and has never had an accident in the house over night. If you get up at 6 she will cuddle up on the sofa for an hour before wanting to go out if you want to.
She has a decent bark and occasional howl which we find amusing and she talks to all the neighbours dogs if one of them barks or she hears a strange noise.
She eats raw food twice a day with a few extra treats and loves Greek yogurt.
I wasn’t sure how many siblings were in her litter when writing this advert, but we are in touch with the Breader who can provide any additional information required.
Cons
She does need a fair amount of exercise and attention, she is a puppy!
She is a working line Giant, not a show line so is on it, which is good for some, but not for others.
She doesn’t like other dogs in her home.
She will take a nibble of your slipper or trained if you leave it out and let her get bored. She hasn’t damaged the house or furniture at all.
New Home
To get the best out of Eden you need to have a lot of spare time to invest in her, enjoy and are capable of a decent daily exercise regime and don’t have another dog in the home or if you do, be prepared for some battles and training etc
She would also do well on a farm or small holding.
She has all the relevant paperwork and was microchipped by the breeder. This ad won’t let me put in all the relevant information about this as not part of a new litter.
All images are of Eden although we can get images of her parents, both are still with the Breeder.
We are simply asking for what we paid for her 2 months ago, not looking to profit, just get her a lovely new permanent home.
