It is with mixed emotions that we are looking for the perfect retirement home for our beautiful British Shorthair girl, Adora. Just over two years old, Adora was imported from Poland to join our breeding programme and has blessed us with two wonderful litters of beautiful, healthy kittens. She is also a TICA Champion and was awarded Best in Show Kitten at one of her GCCF shows, something we are incredibly proud of. Now that she has been spayed and has fully recovered from her surgery, it is time for her to enjoy the pampered life she truly deserves. Adora has a sweet, affectionate and endlessly curious nature. She loves to know what you’re doing and will happily follow you from room to room, keeping you company. Like many British Shorthairs, she isn’t a lap cat, but she enjoys being close to her people and builds strong, loyal bonds. She absolutely loves spending time outdoors, so her ideal home would have a safe, secure garden where she can explore and chase leaves, insects and anything else that catches her eye. Her favourite things include freeze-dried chicken treats, feather toys and anything she can chase! She may be happy living with other friendly cats, provided introductions are carried out slowly and carefully. To help Adora settle and thrive, we feel she would be happiest in a calm home without young children. For this reason, we are looking for a family with children aged 10 or over, or an adult-only household. As a small hobby breeder, we occasionally retire our breeding queens while they are still young enough to enjoy many happy years as cherished family pets. Finding the right home is far more important to us than finding one quickly. Ideally, we’d love Adora to remain fairly local so we can enjoy the occasional update on how she’s getting on. Adora will only be placed in a home where she will be loved as a true member of the family for the rest of her life. If you feel you could offer this special girl the retirement she deserves, we’d love to hear from you.
