🐾 Olive – 18-month-old Female Jack Russell looking for her forever home 🐾
It is with very heavy hearts that we are looking to find a new home for our much-loved girl, Olive.
Olive is a very loving, affectionate girl who absolutely loves her cuddles. She enjoys her walks, exploring and being out and about. She has good recall and although she can get very excited when she sees other dogs and likes to chase them because she wants to play, she does come back.
She can pull on the lead and bark at other dogs due to excitement, although this has improved with time and basic training. She has had some initial training and knows sit, is fully toilet trained, and has good recall, but she would really benefit from someone who has the time, patience and consistency to continue her training.
Olive is a very energetic Jack Russell and needs two good walks a day as well as plenty of stimulation. This is the reason we feel she would be happier with a family who can give her the time and exercise she needs.
🏡 Garden requirements:
Olive needs a very secure garden, both front and back. She is an excellent jumper and can get over surprisingly low walls — ours is around 3ft and she can jump it when she hears someone. A secure, enclosed garden is therefore essential.
👦 Children:
Olive is great with children and has a lovely relationship with our youngest, who is 12. Because she is very excitable, playful and does jump up, we feel she would be better suited to a home with older children rather than very young children.
Her health is good. She is up to date with her vaccinations and is flea and worm treated. She does have a hernia on her stomach, but this does not effect her in anyway.
❤️ Olive is a wonderful, loving dog and we love her dearly. This is not an easy decision, but we feel it is the right one for her. She needs someone who can give her the exercise, attention, training and stimulation that her energetic personality requires.
We are looking for a loving, experienced and committed home where Olive can continue to thrive and be part of the family.
