Description
Leandro is a friendly, affectionate boy with a wonderfully enthusiastic personality. As his fosterer says, he can “bounce very high with excitement” and gets especially animated at mealtimes!
Despite only being in foster care for a short time Leandro is already beginning to settle. His bouncy moments are becoming less frequent, and he is showing how quickly he can learn. One of his recent achievements was sitting calmly and making eye contact before being given his dinner – a big step for a food-loving lad who needed five minutes of patience on his first evening and only two minutes the following night. He is making fantastic progress and his foster family couldn’t be prouder.
Leandro is also adapting well to life in a home environment. He has needed a few toilet breaks during the night, and toilet training remains a work in progress as he is still prone to marking. However, these are very early days, and he is already showing positive signs of improvement.
After all that learning and thinking, Leandro enjoys nothing more than curling up for a well-earned nap. He is doing incredibly well and continues to charm everyone he meets.
Most importantly, Leandro is absolutely adorable and is sure to bring lots of love, fun and laughter to his future family.
Leandro went into foster in Northamptonshire on the 1st June
His Story
He was found wandering in the fields surrounded an apartment block estate. Many dogs belonging to the residents are thrown out when they are no longer wanted. He is neutered.

Tested for known parasite conditions. Also for Leishmaniasis. Pursuant to government regulations all dogs have their blood tested here in the UK for Brucellosis prior to entry and enter the UK within 30 days of the blood being drawn. All dogs are microchipped.
