'Lovely Lily ' 15'2 12yr Irish Mare Red Irish Passport - Imported a few years back Bay with eye catching whites Introducing our super lily An easy summer project sort to suit a confident teenager or adult who wants to invest some time into a rewarding clever mare What a mare she's proving to be. Every day she learns and only ever wants to please. Having had a pretty low key back history - happy hacking etc Lily is ready to be to step up a gear in her educations and enjoy what's asked of her. Working sweetly in the arena very green buy will work up and down the paces - will pop a pole both rustic and coloured. She has a natural ability, with scope and makes a beautiful shape. Hacks well - not fazed by traffic or the usual spooky stuff like a stray plastic bag or over energetic pheasant. That she is kind willing straightforward trying mare and even though low mileage isn't too much of a kick kick nag nag sort Not a complete novice ride as Lils has mileage of a 5yr old. Was said to have previously been a super mother daughter share so I'm confident with time bringing her back into a full work load the cogs will fall back into place and she will have so much to offer. She has ridden in company hacking through woodlands and open spaces as well as riding alone proving while unsure of the questions always willing to digest it and offer her best hoof forward. Can be a little shy when first getting to know her. But loves a treat and a fuss / groom so with her very own long term person she will gain trust. Turns out with mares and geldings. Not top nor bottom of the pecking order Loads and travels well into a trailer and 3.5 side loader. Good with the farrier - currently shod infront and that's is suited to her and her current work load. She was a little green when nailing up the first time but again the more she does the better she will be ! Lily has had a few years off ridden work before coming to us where she has bred the most super stunning coloured foal. She loved this job so would be an asset to go on and do this again. Easy peasy on the ground so would excel in a natural horsemanship environment. Liky can be a little ear shy to bridle so again no complete novices as requires someone with a little patience. We just open the bridle right up and have no issues but she wouldn't need a firm hand - kind is always the way - as with all horses. Turns out with mares and geldings and is good to catch. Equally happy to stable with no stable vices. Wormed to date Delivery options available Open to vet inspection Multiple viewing's welcomed
