Ella is a 4–5-year-old small / upper-small girl with a cheerful, affectionate personality. She loves people, children, dogs and cats, and seems determined to squeeze every possible bit of happiness out of family life. ❤️
She is playful and fun, but already has the manners of a grown-up dog — an easy little companion who is ready to fit straight into a loving home.

💔 Rescue Story
Ella was found sitting in a strip of woodland beside a road. We don't know how she came to be there or how long she had been waiting. Perhaps she had been abandoned; perhaps she had wandered there after losing her home. There was nobody nearby looking for her and nobody to explain.
What mattered was that a little dog was sitting alone beside a road and needed someone to stop. Someone did. And from the moment Ella was given that chance, she has made it very clear how much she wants to be part of people's lives again.
🐾 More About Ella
Ella currently lives in a foster flat, and home life suits her beautifully. She is housetrained, walks nicely on the lead and behaves very well indoors.
She doesn't waste time with formal introductions. 😁 Ella runs over to meet new people and immediately wants to be involved. She is incredibly affectionate and loves pressing herself close to her humans.
And if cuddles are being distributed, Ella would like it officially recorded that she was first in the queue.
She tries very hard to please people and has a funny determination to be first when affection is available — especially if there is an opportunity to get onto someone's lap or into their arms. 🥰
She is also a very playful girl. Ella loves dogs and thoroughly enjoys playing with them. Her activity level depends somewhat on the company around her — she is happy to join the fun when everyone is playing, but she can settle too.
She is nice with children and also good with cats, making her a particularly versatile little family dog.
🏡 Ideal Home
Ella could fit beautifully into almost any active loving family. She could live with dog, cat and children, and we think she would especially enjoy a home where there is plenty of companionship and something happening around her.
Another playful dog would be lovely, although not essential. Ella is very people-oriented and could equally enjoy being the only dog if she receives plenty of interaction, walks and affection.
She doesn't need anything complicated — just a family who wants a cheerful little dog involved in everyday life.
💞 Ella seems determined to make the most of every opportunity she gets. Someone is playing? Ella is coming. Someone is giving cuddles? Ella is already there. Someone has an available lap? Well... she probably considers the matter settled. 😁❤️
She is cheerful, affectionate, playful and uncomplicated — the kind of dog who doesn't just join a family, but very quickly makes herself an enthusiastic part of it.
