Description
Meet Rex š¾
Rex was bred by us and is now back in our care while we find him the right forever home. Born on 16th December 2025, Rex is up to date with his flea and worming treatments.
He is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves meeting new people and has never shown any aggression towards people. However, he is still very much a young dogāhe can be a bit boisterous and has some separation anxiety that will need patient, consistent work in his new home.
Rex is fantastic with children; he has lived with a 10-year-old and onwards and has been around a 6-year-old. He gets on brilliantly with other dogs, so he would be happy in a home with another friendly dog. However, he doesn't like cats, so he will need a cat-free home.
He absolutely loves water, especially the sea and any pond! He also loves cuddles and belly rubs. Rex is fully toilet trained and will sit by the back door when he needs to go outside.
He has good recall, coming back to his name or a whistle, and he knows sit and paw. Like any young dog, Rex loves to dig and will happily chew anything he can get hold of if left to his own devices. Because of this, his separation anxiety, and his boisterous energy, he'll need plenty of toys, plenty of exercise, and lots of mental stimulation.
He will also sometimes bark while sitting at the front window, but it's not excessive.Rex would be best suited to a home with experience of large breeds. He will need someone around most of the day who is willing to continue his training with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. With the right guidance, he will make an amazing, loyal companion.
We are committed to finding Rex the very best home, and he will only be placed with a family we feel is the right match for him.āļø Good with childrenāļø Good with other dogsā No catsāļø Toilet trainedāļø Knows basic commandsāļø Loves cuddles, water and adventuresā ļø Needs work on separation anxiety & boisterous manners.
