A little bit about her in the charities
words
The name soooooo suits her because she
looks exactly like she should be in ‘Anne of
Green Gables’. For anyone who isn’t familiar
with the Edwardian novel alls you need to
know is that it was written for all ages & it’s
a classic. That’s Morella for you. Her
yielding & bashful demeanour combined
with a merry & engaging spirit makes her
adaptable to most households. We’d be
happy to see her with a family, couple or
single living folk. She can be an only dog or
join resident pets. She’s great with her own
kind so doggy play dates would need to be
accessible from time to time which we
would recommend anyway for virtually all of
our rescues. Her cheerful interactions with
children are testimony to the beautiful
nature she and so many of them possess.
She isn’t defined by her predicament & the
past is behind her. What we want is a future
to look forward to. Their ability to bounce
back is unquestionable. That a rescue may
have endured indifference, neglect or worse
is expected. What we aren’t prepared for is
that Morella is still at risk. We’re sure many
of you are familiar with the vulnerabilities
that dogs can face even after they have
been seemingly liberated. You can ask the
charity to learn more about that and/or read
our introductory pack when you make an
enquiry. We want Morella to be save and an
adoption will secure that. The reward of
saving a life as well as adopting can’t be
underestimated. Her demure, quiet & mellow temperament will blossom further
on that one to one environment called a
home. She will be the hearth in the room.
