Description

We never originally planned to put our boy to stud. The only reason we’ve decided to is because we genuinely want to keep one puppy ourselves. If we could clone him, we would—that’s how highly we think of him. He has been an incredible dog from day one. As a puppy he was calm, settled well, slept through, and has always had a confident, loyal nature. He is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn and has needed very little formal training because he picks things up so quickly. Our trainer has consistently commented on his exceptional temperament and has recommended him for breeding because of it. He is loyal, loving and affectionate with his family and the people he knows, while also having the natural protective instincts you would expect from the breed. He has a fantastic off switch in the home, a funny personality that makes us laugh every day, and is a pleasure to live with. He gets on well with other dogs and is confident and steady in social situations. If another dog behaves badly towards him, he is generally unfazed and doesn’t go looking for trouble. He comes from excellent breeding lines with a KC-registered breeder, and his sire was both a champion and a trained security dog. Health has always been a priority for us. He has undergone DCM blood screening with reassuring results, and his heart health has been excellent. He has also had X-rays of his hind end, which showed no abnormalities. We’re not looking to produce lots of litters or run a breeding business. Our goal is simply to keep a puppy from a dog that has brought so much joy to our lives. We would love to find a suitable, health-tested female with an equally outstanding temperament so that we can hopefully keep a puppy that shares his wonderful qualities. I’m more than happy to give more information on him if you need to!
