I have 1 female baby ready to reserve (born 18th April 2026). She can leave from 4th July
"Ombre" is a Medium Ebony Royal Persian Angora female. I have been handrearing Ombre as she was from a litter of triplets and mum didn't have enough milk for them all. Because she has been handreared I am looking for a Pet Home for her and is not for breeding.
She has been handled since birth and, as with most chinchillas, she prefers being stroked in the cage, jumping on your hands/arms rather than being in your arms having cuddles but is friendly and will take food/treats from you.
Chinchillas are very fast so any out of cage time should be minimised /restricted and only once they have settled with you so you are able to get them back into the cage easily. Too much exercise can cause them to overheat and cause seizures in some cases.
** I do not recommend Chinchillas as pets for children under 12 year old and they are the responsibility of parents. Please remember most children will lose interest in pets quickly and Chinchillas are a long term pet as they can live up to 20 years **

Will come with a birth certificate, some food and hay for changeover and some familiar toys to help them settle into their new environment quicker.
