🐾 CHRIS - Betrayed by the Person He Trusted… Ready to Love Again ❤️ Some dogs are abandoned because nobody wanted them. Chris was abandoned by the very person he loved most. His owner had taken him for a routine grooming appointment. We were told that, during the grooming, Chris was accidentally pinched twice by the clippers. Frightened and in pain, he reacted by giving the groomer a small nip. Instead of comforting him or trying to understand why he reacted, his owner beat him and drove him straight to a kill shelter. That should have been the end of Chris's story. Thankfully, it wasn't. Three days later, we brought him to safety, and despite everything he has been through, he still greets people with a wagging tail and hopeful eyes. He has not let cruelty steal his kind heart. Chris deserves so much better than the life he has known. ________________________________________ 🐶 About Chris • 🩵 Male • ⚖️ Small size (around 10 kg) • 🏡 Friendly and affectionate with people • 🎾 Active, cheerful and enjoys being close to humans • 🐕 He barks a little at neighbouring kennel dogs, but not aggressively.
