Meet Kiwi, a lovely mini pig looking for his forever home 🏡
He was born at Alpaca Acres, our therapy farm, where he has been lovingly raised, handled daily, and well socialised from the very beginning.
We are not a commercial breeding farm – our animals are raised here as part of our therapy and family setup, with time, care and individual attention.
Kiwi is now a confident, gentle boy who enjoys people and is ready to settle into a caring, knowledgeable pet home.
🐷💛 Kiwi would make a wonderful first pet pig for the right home, as he has a very gentle nature and is well handled and well socialised.
🐽 ABOUT KIWI
Kiwi is a sweet castrated boar with a calm, friendly nature and a curious personality. He is used to human interaction, routine handling, and busy farm life, making him very well prepared for home life.
🏡 HIS IDEAL HOME
Mini pigs thrive with the right care and environment:
Warm, dry, draught-free shelter with soft straw bedding
Secure, strong fencing (they are clever and determined!)
At least 6m x 6m space per pig
Highly social animals – we recommend keeping pigs in pairs where possible
☀️ CARE TO KNOW
Cannot sweat, so shade and cooling (mud wallow or paddling pool) is essential in warm weather
Need a cosy, insulated shelter in colder months
Love to root, forage and explore – gardens will be rearranged!
🐷 GOOD TO KNOW
Can be litter trained
Very intelligent and interactive
Can be harness trained for walks (licence required)
Affectionate, curious and rewarding pets

At Alpaca Acres, we are a therapy farm and not a commercial breeding operation. All of our animals are raised with patience, care and daily handling as part of our family environment and therapy programme.
Our boar Pongo (Kiwi’s dad) can also be seen on the farm.
