Description

It is with great sadness that I am needing to find our beloved dog Sam a new home. We will be moving to NZ and it is not possible for us to take him. Sam is a beautiful, hairy Lurcher with a real gentle old soul — loving and calm, and happiest sprawled on the sofa with all four legs in the air. He’s a sensitive boy who can be anxious, and he thrives on routine and calm, low-key surroundings rather than chaos and noise. He currently lives with children and a cat and is good with both, but we feel he’d do best with older children and/or in an adult-only household, as this would naturally suit his need for a calmer environment. Sam is walked off-lead and loves it — he requires at least one walk per day. For a sighthound his recall is good but as a sighthound it will never be perfect, but he doesn’t need restrictive walking arrangements, just an owner comfortable with sighthounds. Sam is a wonderful dog and a much loved family member, so finding the right home for him is my utmost priority. He is microchipped and up to date with worming and flea treatment. He is currently not neutered. He will come with his bed and wardrobe ( being a sighthound he does require a coat in winter) 🥰 If you feel that Sam might be a great fit for your home and have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch 😊
