The last hen of our flock has died leaving us with a lonely cockerel in need of some hens. He’s a handsome boy, very protective of his hens and great at alerting you to intruders, predators or anything else amiss. Hatched and reared by ourselves from an egg laid by one of our Orpington hens. We are not planning to get any more chickens so would like him to go to someone with hens who will take good care of him.
