He is the ONLY chocolate Miniature Poodle stud on this site to have hip and elbow score certificates 🎉
Meet Teo; he is the most gorgeous, loving and chilled out Miniature Poodle. I imported him; he is from exceptionally high quality Show Lines, both his parents are International Show Champions. This means that he has 0% co-efficency bringing exciting new genes into the UK. He is proven, fathering both pure and cross breed puppies.
I have shown him lightly and with promising success, winning at Champion and Open Shows. He qualified for Crufts.
One of the most extensively health tested Miniature Poodle studs on this site. There are only 8 other Miniature Poodles on this site that have been hip and elbow scored- none of those carry chocolate. Making Teo very rare and a wonderful stud of choice.
He is fully health tested, with the certificates to show that he is clear for (ALL the recommended KC health tests):
- 0 BVA elbow score
- BVA hip score (6/6)
- Degenerative Myelopathy
- von Willebrand Disease
- Neonatal Encephalopathy
- prcd- PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
- rcd4 PRA / LOPRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
- Osteochondrodysplasia (OCD) / Skeletal Dwarfism
He also has an up to date BVA Eye Certificate from an Opthalmologist- not a general Vet check. Updated in 2025 (valid for 12 months).
He has been tested for the colours he carries. He is the most delicious deep brown colour, with no fading 🤎 (he does not carry the dilute gene). He is from pure brown lines. Being a true brown, he is bb on the B- Locus, meaning be has two copies of brown. When bred to a brown girl, or brown based girl, they will produce all brown or brown based puppies.
He also carries the E-Locus, meaning he will produce the following colours:
- Yellow 💛
- Lemon
- Red 🔴
- Cream and
- Apricot. 🧡
Most importantly, his temperament is wonderful. He lives with two young children, dogs and cats and is so gentle and calm. As all Poodles are, he is very intelligent and quick to learn. All traits that he will pass to his offspring. He knows his job, but is a true gentleman and very polite.
