Description:
We have made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome our beautiful yellow Indian Ringneck, whom we call Kevin. We brought Kevin into our family in September 2025. We do not know the sex (boy or girl) as Kevin has not been DNA tested, and they are still too young to have developed a male's characteristic neck ring.
About Kevin:
Color: Stunning, bright solid yellow (Lutino).
Handling: Kevin is not hand-tame, so he/she is not a bird you can hold or handle right now.
Routine: Kevin is brilliant with a routine! We let Kevin out for free-flight time in a bedroom during the day, and when night falls, Kevin independently flies right back into the cage and puts themselves to bed at night.
What is Included for £350:
Kevin will come with everything needed to transition smoothly to a new home:
His/her large, spacious cage.
All of his/her toys, perches, and bowls.
Any remaining food, treats, and accessories we have.
Reason for Rehoming:
We love Kevin, but we have a child with severe autism, and the natural, loud vocalizations and calls that Ringnecks make have become too overwhelming for our home's sensory needs. For the well-being of our child and for Kevin to have a home where they can express themselves freely without causing distress, we need to find them a new home.
Ideal Home:
Kevin would do wonderfully with an experienced bird keeper who understands the Indian Ringneck personality, or someone looking for a beautiful aviary bird. Because Kevin loves his daily flight time, he will need a home that can offer him safe space out of the cage.
