AVAILABLE- female pup of 9months old. called ‘Hazel’ who has nothing but flawless reviews from her foster home-elfish, funny & joyful. 🇬🇧 In Foster - Somerset area 🇬🇧 I landed in the UK the end of May 26’. My owner chose a puppy (me) though felt she wasn’t managing & asked the charity if I could be re-homed. As I’d only been here 5days that means you don’t need to worry about my attachments and I’ve made the transition to the charities foster without a single issue. They say I’m god as gold and easy. I’m like a puppy though in so many ways more manageable as their attached update shows. With the right home I’ll bounce back from it all. As you can see from my departure video I’m so courageous for a wee gal because even though the courier was a stranger to me, I was passing lots of excited dogs & on a lead I wasn’t used to I still just scuttled forward with faith & enthusiasm. After no time at all despite a long journey & missing my friends I was canting along in the UK with all the new sights, smells & sounds. I’m engaging with it all. My EU advert showed my endearing vocal side and how I communicate and I haven’t lost my voice. I’m just a regular hienz 57 pooch & like any pet where I live is more person focused than it is location as we’re pack animals. With the right special family, couple or single living folk, time, patience & understanding I’ll flourish. I’m so jaunty & once I arrived in foster I was so merry you’d never had known I hadn’t always been there- my foster family are very special. In their words:- “Hazel hasn't been with us long but she is a beautiful girl only 9mths old and in foster in Somerset, she gets on well with other dogs a bit shy when she first meets humans but after she settles she is gorgeous, Sleeps in her bed Loves tummy rubs Makes a funny little squeaky bark if she needs toilet or wants to play, She is gentle and friendly Very good indoors Walks well with harness on (not in this weather) She will make a beautiful pet for someone. I could go on and on but won't be enough room. Immensely good with midge and the other dogs so gentle.” She’s also good with grooming when the previous owner washed her The next bit was written when I was still in Europe and was in my advert for adoption:- My past We (I & two others) were brought into the shelter (where we remained at risk) having been found in the same area so it’s thought that we were a litter of three. In any event we took comfort together & continued as any dog does to benefit from each other’s presence. We are not traumatised babies & have little recollection of our mum or the neglect however we were the old dog of tomorrow and were very vulnerable. It’s a good thing that we had little time out there in the big bad world before we were taken to a government pound but that would have been our downfall if we had been recycled back into abandonment. Worse still we could have been given to a bad person with a chain. We wouldn’t have known what had hit us if that happened. We have relied on humans for food & safety from a young age & we could not have fended for ourselves. It’s a bonus that we don’t have a past (though dogs that do are usually adjusted as we never lose faith in humans).
