Description
Dandelion (3.5 month old male) and Star (7 month old female) are a really happy, affectionate and playful pair of kittens. They are not related but have bonded in foster and love to chase one another, play together, and curl up next to one another to sleep. Star came in to rescue due to allergies in her previous home, whereas Dandelion came in as part of an unwanted litter of kittens. Last month we took in two of Dandelion’s sisters who have now been adopted. Dandelion came to us about 6 weeks after his sisters and sadly arrived with us incredibly shut down. However, although he has only been in foster for a week, with his new best friend Star’s help he has transformed into an extremely sociable, affectionate and interactive boy who has lots of confidence!
Dandelion and Star run to greet their fosterer when she comes in, both rubbing against her legs, purring. When she sits down, Star often hops on to her lap to roll around affectionately, and Dandelion sits next to her wanting fuss. The rest of the time, Star & Dandelion play high energy games together before curling up for a nap.
Although both kittens are black, they are very easy to tell apart as they have very different builds - Star is petite and curvy, whereas Dandelion is slender and Sphynx-like. Both have been neutered, chipped, and started vaccinations.
Star and Dandelion are looking for a loving home together where they’ll get lots of attention and fuss, and adopters who will provide plenty of toys and stimulation.
Star and Dandelion are in foster in Reading.
Rehoming criteria:
- Suitable for first time owners
- Can live with children
- Can potentially live with another playful young cat
- Can potentially live with a cat-savvy dog
- Will need outdoor access to a garden
- Owners should be around the majority of the day
The minimum adoption fee is £185 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccination
- Up to date flea and worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks free insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
