❤️ Loving Bonded Pair of Netherland Dwarf Cross Rabbits Looking for a New Home ❤️
With an extremely heavy heart, I am looking for the perfect new home for my two much-loved rabbits, Amy and Jonny.
🐰 Amy – female
🐰 Jonny – male
🐰 15 months old
🐰 Netherland Dwarf crosses
🐰 Brother and sister from the same litter
🐰 Fully bonded and must stay together
🐰 Both spayed/neutered
🐰 Fully vaccinated and up to date with their vaccinations and Flystrike treatment
🐰 Indoor, free-roam rabbits
This is an incredibly difficult decision, but unfortunately my daughter has developed a phobia of the rabbits, and after a lot of thought I feel that finding Amy and Jonny a wonderful new home is the kindest option for everyone.
They are both friendly, gentle rabbits who love human company, although they don’t particularly like being picked up – which is quite normal for rabbits. They will happily come over to you, and if you kneel down on the floor they will often jump onto your lap for a treat. They also enjoy having a stroke while they’re eating their favourite pellets.
Amy is the brave one! She loves investigating anything new and will confidently go off exploring. She then comes back to Jonny, almost as though she’s telling him that everything is safe, and he’ll happily follow her.
They both have lovely little personalities and enjoy playing with their toys. They particularly love taking their toy rings from you and throwing them around. Jonny especially loves his stacking cups and will happily entertain himself playing with them.
They are used to having plenty of space and being indoor free-roam rabbits, so I am looking for someone who understands rabbit welfare and can give them the space, companionship, enrichment and love they are used to.
This is not a decision I’ve made lightly. They are very much loved and I want to make sure they go to a genuinely wonderful home where they will remain together and be treated as part of the family.
🏡 A loving, experienced rabbit home is essential.
❤️ Amy and Jonny will only be rehomed together.
Amy and Jonny with come with all of their belongings including a hutch which was predominantly used when re-bonding after their procedures, it is now used as a hide out and drinking area.
I would much rather take my time and find the right person than rush this decision, so please tell me a little about yourself, your experience with rabbits and the home you could offer them.
Please share if you know someone who might be the perfect home for these two. ❤️🐰🐰
