๐ UPDATE โ STELLA IS BACK WITH RESCUE
Sadly, Stella's foster-to-adopt placement hasn't worked out, and we urgently need to find her a new foster home.
In her previous foster home, Stella lived alongside an active, playful and well-balanced dog โ and she was as good as gold. โค๏ธ She was happy, playful and settled beautifully.
In her current home she is the only dog, while her family work full-time (from home, but still busy and in separate room), and she is clearly struggling with being alone. She has become increasingly unsettled when her people leave even for another room, whining, jumping up and becoming mouthy. She has also started biting/chewing herself when left.
On lead she can bark and pull excitedly towards them (we think thatโs what called lead reactivity due to frustration), but when she was introduced to the family's daughter's dog in a secure space without leads, she was absolutely wonderful with them.
We strongly believe Stella needs another friendly, confident, well-balanced and still playful dog by her side. ๐ถโค๏ธ

Stella is a 2-year-old small-to-lower-medium girl with a naturally bobtail. She is incredibly loving, friendly, affectionate and looking for companionship.

๐พ More About Stella
Stella loves being close to her people and gives an enormous amount of affection in return. Her family describe her as โa very loving, friendly dogโ and say the rewards she gives are โloyalty, companionship and love.โ โค๏ธ
She loves her toys โ ropes, balls and teddies โ enjoys her food and loves having space for a good run and zoomies.
She can be sensitive to loud noises and gets very excited around dogs when on lead, barking and pulling to reach them. She will benefit from an experienced handler and some 1-to-1 training to help her become calmer and more confident on walks.
At home she loves companionship and doesn't currently cope well with being left. For this reason, her next foster needs someone who is around most of the time, particularly while she settles.

We are looking for:
๐ถ A friendly, confident, well-balanced and playful resident dog
๐ก A secure private garden with space for zoomies
๐ค Someone home most of the time initially and able not to separate Stella if WFH
โค๏ธ A stable home prepared to give Stella companionship, routine and reassurance
Ideally we would love to find a foster-to-adopt home, but right now our priority is simply finding Stella the right FOSTER and getting her back into an environment where she can settle again.
๐ Rescue Story
Stella was originally found at the Ukrainian border, believed to have been left behind during the chaos of people fleeing the war.
She has already had far too many changes in her young life. We don't want another unsuitable move โ we want to get this one right.
๐ We have already seen the happy, loving Stella who flourishes when she feels secure and has the right canine companion beside her. She is still that same gorgeous girl. โค๏ธ She just needs us to find the environment where she can be herself again.

๐ฉบ Health Information
Stella is healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (approved laboratory certificate provided).
