Description

It breaks my heart to be writing this, but after months of trying to make things work, I've made the incredibly difficult decision to find my beautiful girl, Daisy, the loving forever home she deserves. Daisy is a Cavapoochon, born on 12th March 2025. She is microchipped, spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date with her flea and worm treatments. She has a beautiful apricot and cream curly coat and the sweetest nature. Daisy is incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. If she could spend every minute by your side, she would! She's a real shadow who thrives on love and companionship. She is full of energy and loves playing in the garden, especially if bubbles are involved! On walks she loves meeting people and will happily try to say hello to everyone. She can pull on the lead at first but soon settles. Daisy is wonderful with our children (aged 10 and 2) and has never shown any aggression. She can be a little cautious when meeting other dogs initially but is always happy to say hello. She does enjoy chasing our cat, so a cat-free home may be best. She sleeps upstairs with us at night and settles happily in her crate when we're out. We rarely leave her for longer than two hours, so she'd be happiest in a home where someone is around for much of the day. She is mostly house trained and will usually wake you if she needs to go outside during the night, although she still has the occasional accident. Daisy is professionally groomed every five weeks and is very good with the groomer, so her new family should be prepared to continue her regular grooming routine. She currently eats Wildways Fresh Salmon with Herring & Vegetables Dry Adult Dog Food. Although her allergy testing showed a salmon allergy, she has tolerated this food well while taking her medication. Daisy's Allergies Sadly, Daisy has multiple allergies, including several types of grass and other environmental allergens. She has undergone allergy testing, and I can provide the full results and her veterinary history to genuine enquiries. She currently takes Zenrelia 6.4mg once daily, which manages her allergies well. The medication costs approximately £63.35 for a 30-day supply. Her allergies are manageable but require ongoing medication and commitment, so please only enquire if you've carefully considered the long-term costs. Why We're Rehoming This is, without question, the hardest decision we've ever had to make. Daisy is a deeply loved member of our family, but despite doing everything we can, the ongoing management of her allergies has become more than we can realistically sustain. We want to find a family who can continue giving her the care, stability and love she deserves for the rest of her life. Daisy will leave with everything she owns, including her bed, crate, toys, lead and collar, food, remaining medication, and her allergy test results and veterinary information. A rehoming fee applies, but finding the right home is far more important than the amount. We will be asking questions to ensure Daisy goes to a family who understands the commitment involved. Daisy isn't just a pet—she's part of our family. She has brought us so much laughter with her playful nature, endless affection and funny personality. She loves nothing more than following her people from room to room and being close to those she loves. Whoever welcomes Daisy into their home won't just be getting a dog—they'll be gaining a loyal, loving companion with so much love to give. If you think you could offer Daisy the wonderful life she deserves, we'd love to hear from you. Please tell us a little about yourself, your family and the home you could provide. If possible, we'd love to receive the occasional update and photo, as Daisy will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
