Description

This young lad is just over 1 years old and a bundle of joy. He’s full of life and love and genuinely thinks he’s a lap dog. He loves nothing more than to sit on your knee having a cuddle. He knows the following: Sit Paw Down Bed His previous home had children and cats. He came to live with me as their circumstances changed. He has interacted very well with my cats and listened when they’ve told him to back off. He’s interacted very well with my 2 year old niece and with other children when taken to the pub on a very busy Friday evening. He behaved very well and did as he was told. He currently isn’t vicious towards other dogs but does need to learn some manners. He will pull towards them and sometime lunge/bark. HOWEVER, he has never been aggressive towards them. Last week whilst walking around the park, he was approached by another dog charging towards him whilst he was on his lead. He played with the dog and responded really well. He’s between a dog walker and coming to work with me at the moment. He can be left alone for a while. He will whine/pace for 5-10 minutes then will back off and go to sleep. He currently sleeps downstairs between the kitchen/dining room and settles well. Doesn’t use a crate but I do have one. Can be taken with him if needed. Reason for rehoming: unfortunately this weekend we’ve had an incident of him being excited around water and pulling me over. This has made me realise I’m physically not strong enough to walk him safely at the moment. He would happily be rehomed with children and other pets. Ideally people with plenty of time for him to commit to his on lead training, then he will be the perfect dog. He genuinely is such a lovely boy and deserves the world.
