Description

This is our final, urgent plea for a truly extraordinary mother and son who cannot bear to be parted. At just one year old, this sweet mama cat has already endured the exhaustion of two litters—including a heartbreaking second litter where half her babies were born as "swimmers" requiring intensive care. Sonic is her last surviving boy, her final baby, and the center of her universe now that she has finally been spayed and safe in rescue. Because of everything they have survived together, their bond is unlike anything we have ever seen. Sonic is an incredibly timid, gentle soul who cowers and hides from the big, scary world, relying entirely on his mother's soothing purrs and protective grooming to reassure him that he is safe. They are both impeccably clean, perfectly litter-trained, and wonderfully socialised with other cats, dogs, children, and even a tiny baby. They have so much love to give, yet they haven't received a single offer. As the weeks slip by, Sonic is growing bigger, and our hearts are breaking because we know he simply will not cope without his mother by his side. If a kind, compassionate soul doesn't step forward soon to adopt them as a pair, we will be forced to make the devastating choice to rehome them separately—a heartbreak we desperately want to spare them. Please, open your heart to this beautiful duo and give Sonic and his devoted mama the forever home where they can stay together always. All vet care has been provided: Both are vaccinated, microchipped, health checked, flea & worm. Mum has been spayed. We help with kitten neuter once ready.
