Her Story
Pandora’s life has been one of waiting…
As a young girl, she was rescued from a public shelter — a place where her future looked uncertain. She was given safety in a private shelter, where she slowly blossomed into the most loving, gentle soul.
Day by day, she grew into a wonderful dog — affectionate, loyal, and ready to give her whole heart to someone.
But that someone never came…
Years passed.
She kept waiting.
She was not forgotten — her rescuer cared deeply for her — but a shelter, no matter how loving, is never a home.
Then tragedy struck.
Her rescuer became terminally ill.
There was no one to take over the shelter. And when the property had to be cleared, the unthinkable happened…
All the dogs, including Pandora, were taken to a public shelter once again.
A place of noise, fear and uncertainty.
A place no dog should have to return to.
But Pandora was lucky…
A befriended rescuer knew what a special girl she is — and stepped in just in time. She was saved once more and brought to another private shelter.
And now… she waits again.
Still hoping.
Still believing.
Still ready.

She is gentle, affectionate, very intelligent, having a strong "will to please" and is deeply loyal — the kind of dog who forms a real bond with her person. A quiet companion who will be there, always.
She has already shown how much love she has to give…

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
