Description
This is Skye. Skye is a 6 month old Border Collie x Huntaway puppy. Sadly due to a relationship breakdown and other mitigating factors Skye needs a new home.
Firstly Skye needs a home with an enclosed private rear garden where nothing can distract her. Currently our home has an enclosed front garden with loads of space, however Skye is regularly distracted by people and vehicles passing by, sometimes during the day it can take up to 40 minutes for Skye to pee or poo. Having two young kids it’s not feasible for me to be leaving my kids in the house on their own while I wait for Skye to do her business.
Secondly we have 2 cats, Skye being a playful pup likes to try and play with the cats - the cats don’t appreciate that so much. One of my cats hides upstairs all day, while the other tries to hiss and claw Skye. For the sake of my cats for Skye’s sake, it’s better for Skye to go to a home with no other cats. Skye has met dogs when out walks etc and appears to be fine with other dogs.
Thirdly while Skye has been good with my Children, there was an incident just a few days ago where sky nipped my sons hand while he was playing with his toys, we are not sure if Skye thought it was a treat or a toy for her. But I can’t be having Skye behaving like this while my kids try to play, or having my children end up scared of dogs. Due to this Skye would be better off in a home with no kids.
All in all Skye is a friendly loveable pup. I just feel she needs a more deserving home where she’s the only animal and can get the full undivided attention she needs. Skye will come with her bed, bowls, lead, toys etc. I can also provide more photos on request, and proof of microchip and vaccination record.
