Description
Dudley is a 12.2 Welsh C cross cob pony. He is amazing with kids and goes on or off the lead rein. Dudley will stand for hours to be groomed, cuddled, plaited and the kids can jump on him bareback in the field and ride him in. Dudley hacks brilliantly alone and in company, he has done pc camp twice with us (on and off lead-rein) and lots of pony club rallies, organised fun rides and he is a fab jumper. Dudley easily jumps up to 80cm at home and we have jumped him 50/60/70 when out at competitions. He is push button to a fence and very forgiving and tolerant of rider error and imbalances! He is brilliant to take out and about, doesn’t hot up or get silly and will stand patiently at the lorry.
Dudley would be a brilliant lead rein pony or second pony as little legs can sometimes struggle to get him going and he will pull to the grass if allowed. My daughter is a petite 10 year old and the perfect size for him.
Dudley has no health issues, no history of lameness, injuries, lami or sweet itch. He has no vices, lives in or out (although weight should be monitored!) He is barefoot, good to catch, loads and travels well, he is a doddle to bath and clip and no sedation needed for teeth. Up to date with vaccs and teeth. Sadly for sale as kids have completely lost interest so we’re sadly giving up ponies. Open to offers to see Dudley in a lovely new home before the summer holidays, a short trial may be considered if local to Suffolk.
