Description

Nine Labrador puppies were born here on the farm on 8 June. Six boys and three girls, in shades from fox red through to light cream, and they are ready now. They have been outdoors and underfoot their whole lives, following Ava round the yard and sleeping in a heap in the sun. They have grown up around tractors, livestock, the other dogs and socialised with children, so very little bothers them. When you come, you will meet the whole family, because they all live here. Ava their mum, Hugo their dad, and Bear and Hilda, full brother and sister from Ava's earlier litter, now all grown up. You will not be guessing what your puppy becomes. Ava is the best sort of Labrador there is. A proper farm dog, out with us all day, steady around the livestock, machinery. Then she comes in during the evening and turns into the softest family dog you could wish for. Brilliant with children, endlessly patient, and she has raised this litter beautifully. Hugo works alongside her, and he has real breeding behind him. He is Kennel Club registered as Fire Cracker Jack, with seventeen Field Trial Champions across his five-generation pedigree, including FT Ch Skellorn Danty as his great-grandsire and the Drakeshead line running through him five times over. The Kennel Club records him as hereditary clear for CNM. Straight up front, because you would rather know now than at the door: the puppies are not Kennel Club registered. Hugo is registered and we are happy to show you his papers, but Ava is not, so the litter cannot be. They will suit a family who want a dog in the middle of everything, out walking all day and asleep across your feet all evening. That is what Ava is, and what Bear and Hilda have grown into. Each puppy leaves us microchipped, first vaccination done, wormed, flea treated and vet checked, with all their paperwork, and four weeks of the food they know. We transfer the microchip into your name on the day, with you. £950 each. A £200 deposit holds your puppy, fully refundable if we cannot supply or if our vet finds a problem before collection. Viewings are here at the farm near Thame, with Ava and the whole litter, by arrangement. We cannot deliver or meet you anywhere, and honestly you should not want us to.
