Description
Sheldon is a large, impressive 15-year-old Sulcata (African Spurred) tortoise looking for a knowledgeable, forever home.
She is full of character and enjoys spending time outdoors grazing and exploring. She was named Sheldon because we believed she was male for many years, until she surprised us by laying an egg!

As a large adult sulcata, she requires plenty of space, a secure outdoor enclosure and a heated indoor area during colder weather.
This has been a very difficult decision, but we feel Sheldon deserves a home with more space than we can now provide. We would love for her to go to an experienced keeper who can offer a suitable long-term home, whether as a cherished pet or alongside other sulcatas if appropriate. She has a slight split in her beak which i think may be possible overgrowth, but it in no way stops her eating and to a knowledgeable Tortoise keeper, may be easily remedied!
