Description
This is one of the hardest posts we’ve had to make, but we are looking for a new home for our male Brittany Spaniel, born 12th March 2026.
He is a loving, affectionate and very energetic young dog who is fantastic with adults and other dogs. He is good in the house, enjoys walks, is toilet trained and has no food aggression or resource guarding.
Unfortunately, since having our newborn baby, he has become very jealous of the attention the baby receives. He can become frustrated, nippy and difficult to settle, and he has attempted to nip our baby for attention. Because of this, we cannot responsibly keep him around a young child.
He is still very excitable, jumps up, nips when overstimulated, pulls on the lead and needs continued training, patience and lots of exercise.
We feel he would thrive in an adult-only home, ideally with someone who understands Brittanys. A home with another friendly dog would be a bonus as he absolutely loves other dogs.
He is not neutered.
This isn’t about money, we just want the right home for him. We will ask questions and would like to do a home check.
