Description
Nine Labrador puppies, born on 20 March 2026 and ready to leave from Friday 15 May. Six are a proper deep fox red, three are a lighter shade, closer to a rich yellow or pale red depending on how you look at them. Raised in our home, not in a shed, with all the noise and mess of a family. Both parents are our own dogs and both live here with us, and you are welcome to come and meet them.
3 boys and 6 girls across the litter. By the time they leave they will be eight weeks old, wormed on schedule, flea treated, vet checked, microchipped, and with their first vaccinations done. Each puppy goes home with a printed pack covering feeding, worming and vaccination history, the microchip paperwork, a blanket that smells of Mum, and a few days of the food they have been weaned onto.
About Mum and Dad
Mum is Ruby. She is a gentle, patient girl with a soft mouth and a daft sense of humour. She has been brilliant with this litter from day one and is calm around the puppies and people. Dad is Mars. Steadier than he looks, friendly, good with children and other dogs. Both of them live indoors with us as family pets. Ruby is with the puppies at every viewing. Mars is usually under someone’s feet nearby and happy to say hello.
How the puppies have been raised
From day three they have been on a daily Early Neurological Stimulation routine, a short handling protocol that is shown to help puppies cope better with stress and handling later in life. They are weighed every morning so we can spot anything off early. From about three weeks they have been meeting the usual household racket, the hoover, the kettle, the post hitting the mat, kids, visitors, the telly. By the time they leave they will be used to being picked up, having their feet touched, their ears looked at, and their mouths opened.
Honest notes
They are not Kennel Club registered. We are not breeders in the commercial sense, this is a one-off home litter from two of our own Labradors. If you want paperwork, field trial lines and a pedigree as long as your arm, we are not the right people. If you want a well handled, well socialised family Labrador from a home where the dogs are properly loved, we probably are. Happy to answer every question you have got, including the awkward ones, when you get in touch.
Viewing, deposit and price
£950 per puppy for the Fox Red & 850 for the lighter ones. £200 non-refundable deposit secures your chosen pup after you have visited in person and met Ruby. Balance on collection by bank transfer or cash. Viewings from around five weeks old, by appointment, at our home near Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Easy reach from the M1, M25 and A1(M).
