SHE HAS BEEN RESCUED
I have this lovely little dog looking a forever home.
I’m unsure if she’s vaccinated and microchipped.
she is around 2 years old (I don’t know exactly), her name is Bella and she is a chow-chow X french bulldog.
I took her in (after persistent asking to take her ) from a home around a month or so ago who could no longer “look” after her any more. I can give more details if requested!
A-bit about Bella -
She is the perfect family dog she is calm, very loving and such a little cutie pie she doesn’t play with toys I don’t think she knows how to, I’ve tried but she shows no interest and if I didn’t have 2 largish sized dogs as it is and with me also being in a small house and 3 children I would keep her in a heart beat
my female dog is showing some aggression towards her.
She is great with other dogs, kids and babies I haven’t tried her actively with cats but she has chased one so I’m unsure what the outcome would’ve been.
She hasn’t shown any signs of aggression to me, new people or children at all or food aggression and she doesn’t bark, she’s very quiet and just wants to snuggle up on your lap and go to sleep. She loves to go for walks, she walks well on a lead and she also walks well off the lead (I haven’t tried her near a road off lead, I’m too panicky 😂) but she has brilliant recall when she is off lead on fields etc, she is quite food motivated if you have treats she will do the basic commands with a little budge.
She hasn’t got much trust in her but since being with me she has improved massively, she can be wary of loud sounds and loud voices so needs a lot of reassurance, she can also be frightened and cowers at new people but once she realises it’s okay she just wants a belly rub and picky ups 😂🥰 she can also have a little accident indoors here and there but she is getting better with that.
She has taken to us like a duck to water and never leaves my feet, which has made it harder for me to look for a home for her, I try not to get attached but she has made hard with how sweet and cute she is and I’m no help either, I can’t help myself to be honest 😂🤦🏽♀️ but unfortunately it was never my intention to keep her so it will be hard to let her go and since my female has shown aggression towards bella, it wouldn’t be fair on her or my other dogs.
The type of family she would be best suited to would be a small family with either another dog to play with no matter the size 😆 or simply an older person on their own looking for company.
Please be sure that if you have interest make sure that you can fully commit, that it will without a single doubt be a forever home and she will be nothing but loved as much as possible and cared for, with a comfortable life - I don’t want her to keep being moved from pillar to post because it isn’t fair, don’t hesitate to send me a message. just a simple, comfortable, loving forever home for her.
Im not in a rush and she isn’t going to just anybody who I feel wouldn’t be the perfect fit she’ll stay with me as-long as it takes to find the perfect home with the kindest people. I have put a lot into her to get her to where she is now, she hasn’t had the best start so I want to give her as best as I can and make sure of it too, Thanks xx
