Lilo is a 15hh 9 year old bay mare. She is a Connemara cross (warmblood/ thoroughbred)
Lilo is one of the loveliest horses I’ve ever known with a very easy going attitude towards everything. She is very sweet on the ground and enjoys a cuddle. She’s great to handle, good to catch, load, travel, bath etc
Lilo hacks alone and in company. Not bothered by traffic and never strong or silly in open spaces. She’s good behind or in front.
Lilo loves her jumping. She’s been to a couple arena hires and has gone to a show where she was unfazed by everything around her and just cracked on with everything I asked of her. Unbothered by fillers and planks. Jumped up to 80cm so far with scope!
Lilo has also been cross country schooling a couple times where she has jumped everything I’ve asked proving to be keen and bold. She’s jumped ditches, steps, water and just seems to really enjoy herself.
Lilo came to me as a project from a family member who genuinely just can’t give her the time she deserves. She was a broodmare and has had some lovely foals but has now started her next chapter as a ridden horse and she has excelled.
Her only flaw is that’s she’s not great with the farrier. We have just sedated her to be done but with time she would definitely get better
I genuinely believe she’d do well in most homes as she’s a very confident and safe girl and just seems to really enjoy her job
Up to date with everything vaccines, feet, worming, physio and teeth
Comes with her saddle.
