PLEASE READ IN FULL! It has been a very tough decision to have to do this. I feel I need to be completely honest with whoever decides to rehome Allie, I only got her in February after her previous owner said they needed to rehome her fast because she had too much energy for her autistic child. I have 5 children myself but fell in love with her and mine are full of energy too! 2 days after I got her the previous owner blocked me. This should have set off some alarm bells but no I just carried on. Well she has been getting worse and worse with snapping at my children and in fact anyone. It's not really aggressive as such but recently she tried to bite my youngest daughters face when all she was doing was sitting playing on her tablet. ALLIE SHOULD NOT BE REHOMED WITH CHILDREN! It happens out of the blue, along with sometimes the children trying to play with her. She is crate trained and because of her recent behaviour has been spending a lot of time in her crate to separate her from my children which isn't fair on her either. She has some basic recall off the lead (as long as there are no other dogs or people around, also has a tendency to bolt if she sees a bird or butterfly!) I did try a dog trainer although didn't have much luck. Anyone interested in Allie must be willing to meet her and spend a little time to see that you understand how she can be. I love her and want her to go to a good home but I would never forgive myself if she hurt one of my children (or anyone else's!)
