Ron is our beloved family dog. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. We love him dearly, but I have taken on a new career as a childminder and Ron is a very nervous dog, he will bark whether you are a child, adult or baby. This does not last and after the initial bark he will be your best friend. It’s just not ideal with new parents and children coming to the home regularly. We take him on regular walks, he has had behaviour therapy, dog training classes.. he just barks!! And because he is a big black dog this can be quite scary. He has grown up with a toddler and a small child and he has always been great. He’s had his tail pulled, ears pulled, he’s been ridden like a horse and he has never once shown any aggression. It’s a really difficult decision for us to make as a family, but I can’t explain to every family that he’s fine after a while, he just needs to get to know you. I’ve listed him as £100 but I don’t want any money, I just want him to go to a loving home.
