Meet Bertie! 🐾 Bertie is an 8-month-old bundle of love with the most wonderful, gentle temperament. He is kind, affectionate, and absolutely fantastic around young children as he has been raised in a busy family home and adores being part of the action. His favourite things include: · Following you from room to room just to see what you’re up to (he’s incredibly loyal and curious!) · Curling up for a good nap, he loves his downtime and is happy to snooze while you go about your day · Learning new things - he already knows sit, lie down, roll over, give paw, and drop The practical stuff: · Fully house-trained · Not destructive in the home · Lead work: He's still young and strong, and can pull on the lead. He needs an owner who is keen to continue his training. With consistency, he's going to be fantastic. Why we are rehoming him: This is not an easy decision, and it breaks our hearts. I am heavily pregnant with our third child, and my husband is about to leave for RAF training for several months. With three children under 5 and no extra support, we simply won’t be able to give Bertie the time, exercise, and attention he truly deserves. He needs a home where he can continue to be the wonderful dog we know he is. The ideal home: Bertie would suit an active family or individual who can give him daily walks and mental stimulation. He loves people and would thrive in a home where he’s included as part of the family. He’s great with kids, so a family environment would suit him perfectly, but equally, he’d be a loving companion for a couple or single owner looking for a loyal friend.
