🐾 Meet Cody & Cloe
Cody and Cloe are a gorgeous brother-and-sister bonded pair, born on 13th May 2026, who are currently being cared for in one of our wonderful Penny Paws foster homes in Slough.
These two little ones were born outside in someone’s garden before being brought into safety and given the opportunity to experience all the comforts of life in a loving foster home.
Understandably, after their start in life, they can still be a little nervous at times. But they are making lovely progress and, once they know they are safe, their affectionate sides really begin to shine.
They absolutely love cheek rubs and scratches, have incredibly soft fur and are becoming more and more comfortable with human affection.
Their foster carer has even found them sleeping on her lap and joining her in bed, which shows just how far these little ones have already come.
They need a family who will give them the time and reassurance to continue building their confidence without rushing them.
⸻
❤️ Best Friends – They Must Stay Together
Cody and Cloe are very bonded and will only be rehomed together.
They cuddle up together, sleep together, play together and take enormous comfort and reassurance from having one another nearby.
Like many kittens, they enjoy plenty of energetic, rough-and-tumble play before curling up together when they’ve finally worn themselves out!
They can be a little vocal or growly when other cats pass them, so we feel they may be happiest in a home where they can be the only cats and enjoy all the attention themselves.
🏡 Indoor or Outdoor Homes
At their young age, Cody and Cloe have not established an outdoor lifestyle, so we’re happy to consider both indoor and suitable outdoor homes.
We’ll discuss your home, family and surrounding environment with you and recommend the most appropriate adoption plan to help ensure Cody and Cloe have the very best start in their forever home.
For families planning to eventually allow outdoor access, we will consider the safety of the immediate area, including nearby busy roads, railway lines and other potential hazards.
They must remain safely indoors while settling into their new home and must not be allowed outside before they are neutered/spayed, microchipped and appropriately vaccinated.
For an indoor-only home, their family will need to provide plenty of enrichment, climbing opportunities, interactive play and stimulation throughout their lives.
🩺 Veterinary Care & Vaccinations
Cody and Cloe have received flea and worm treatment and will leave with the health information Penny Paws has available for them.
Penny Paws does not routinely begin kitten vaccination courses before adoption. We recommend that adopters register their kittens with their own vet as soon as possible and begin a fresh vaccination course, ensuring their vet has a clear and reliable vaccination history going forward.
Microchipping can be completed alongside neutering when they are old enough.

🎥 Home Video Required
As part of the Penny Paws adoption process, we ask applicants to provide a short video tour of their home.
For potential outdoor homes, this should include:
• Inside the home
• The garden/outdoor area
• Any potential escape points or hazards
• The view from the front door looking left and right, so we can assess nearby roads and the immediate surroundings
For indoor-only applications, we’ll also need to see how windows, doors and other potential escape routes will be safely managed.
Your video can be sent via WhatsApp or email.
This isn’t about having a perfect home — it simply helps us make responsible matches and ensure that the environment is suitable for the individual cats we’re placing.

💕 The Home We’re Looking For
Cody and Cloe need a family who understands that rescue kittens who started life outside may need a little extra patience while they continue learning that people are safe.
We’re looking for adopters who will allow them to settle at their own pace, continue building their confidence and give them all the affection, play, enrichment and security they deserve.
In return, you’ll get to watch two little rescue kittens continue to blossom — while having the joy of a pair who already adore one another.
⸻
💷 Adoption & Reservation
Penny Paws is a non-profit rescue. We don’t make a profit from our cats or kittens, and adoption fees go directly back into rescue work, helping towards veterinary treatment, neutering, parasite treatment, food, litter and the many other costs involved in caring for the cats already with us and those still waiting for our help.
Once an adoption has been approved and a match agreed, a £50 reservation deposit is required to secure the kittens. This is deducted from the final adoption fee.
