Description
This is Rocco, our 4 year old Akita, we have had him since he was 8 weeks old, he a loving gentle dog, that is caring and friendly with other dogs. He adores playing with my children and is very protective of them. He lives with 2 cats and gets on with them very well.
He protects his home and family like a champ, hes very playful and energetic, loves long walks and car rides. He is partially trained, is well behaved. He doesn’t make mess or destroy anything but hes can be stubborn as all akitas are.
Hes always been fed quality kibble and treats, with balance of chicken. He will not eat wet food he dosent like it.
We are having to rehome him for personal family reasons. Hes not at fault for this decision and its breaking our heart to rehome him but he needs to be with a more suitable family that can offer him the love and attention that he needs. My work commitments mean im not always available for him and he deserves more.
The ideal candidate for him would be someone with previous large breed experience or better still he would love to be part of a bigger dog family.
Please note if you dont have the experience or have not had an akita before please do your research before contacting us, they are lovley, loyal and clever dogs but require alot of time and effort with long walks and grooming etc. He is a large powerfull breed and is not for the first time dog owner.
He is fully vaccinated and flea and worm treatment up to date. He has not been nurtured.
