Description
It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a loving new home for my beautiful 2½ year old caique.
He/She was bought as a present for my son, who has now left home for further education. I work full time and feel he/she deserves more daily interaction and stimulation than I can currently give.
This is an absolutely lovely, very tame and confident bird. Full of personality. Loves to step up, play for hours, whistle, sing and dance. Every morning he/she wolf whistles as soon as you walk into the room and genuinely brightens the house.
Caiques are known as the clowns of the parrot world and this one truly lives up to that reputation.
He/She can come with a choice of two large cages (both on wheels):
• A very large macaw-sized cage (cost £650)
• A second large, sturdy cage with open top
Happy to send photos of both.
This is not a rushed sale … finding the right home is most important. Caiques are intelligent, energetic birds and need daily interaction and stimulation.
