š» The kittens are growing up to be sweet and gentle, inteligent loving lap-cats like their Siberian mother and father.
š» Lovingly home reared and regularly handled by myself a retired NHS Nurse. The kittens possess the Siberian good natured temperament and are simply divine; they are absolute loyal sweety-pies and love to be near you always and will follow you around the house like a dog, patiently waiting for a fuss. They adore children and socialise easily with existing pets. They love to greet you when you come home, often rolling over to have their tummies stroked.
š» Siberians have a fascination with water and will happily play with a running tap or bowl of water. They have a very high IQ and respond well to games and training. They will even enjoy a game of fetch.
š» Siberians are a popular hypoallergenic breed. Despite having thick, medium long hair, they produce less allergen-causing proteins than many other cats.
From my experience their fur is not prone to matting and tangles compared to other long hair breeds, however they do enjoy a grooming.
š» Since the demise of the Soviet Union, Siberians are still rare in the UK as they are an indigenous breed from Russian Siberia for over a thousand years where they have evolved to withstand the freezing hostile conditions. They have extra large paws for walking on snow; an impressive winter mane with easy to maintain triple layered fur and gorgeous long bushy tail.
š» Siberians have longer powerful hind legs which makes them athletic jumpers - they are very adept at climbing up and down trees and balancing on thin branches with their distinctive long bushy tails.
š» Siberians donāt like being left alone all day. Itās a good idea to have two if you donāt already have a pet dog or cat. It is always a joy to watch two Siberians goofing around together.
š» Siberians are a hardy breed with few Heath issues and can live for up to 20 years. They are slow to reach full size and maturity until they are 5 years old.
At 10 years they will have more muscle mass.
š» I must say that after having bred & owned many cat breeds I have found Siberians to be the ultimate feline companions. They are friendly, affectionate, calm and gentle. They are more than a pet, they are a loyal and kind furry family member.

Lovely lady who clearly adores her cats. Kept in contact and gave me lots of advise about what he has been eating and what to get for him. Dougie settled so quickly and is one very cuddly and playful cat.
