Description

Hi, Please see Rosie and Ralph. Ralph is a full pedigree working cocker spaniel, whilst Rosie is half working and half show. Ralph is around 4 and Rosie is about 3.5 years old. They are both very loving dogs with heaps of energy and house trained. Rosie has not been spayed and Ralph has been We have had them for about 3 years and we’ve now made the incredibly difficult choice to re-home them. The reason for us making this choice, which we haven’t taken lightly is because it is unfair for us to keep them, on us and on them. Our youngest son has recently been diagnosed with ADHD, just over 12 months ago and we’ve tried and tried and tried to work with his behavioural challenges whilst having the dogs and we have gotten to the point that it just isn’t working. He is incredibly boisterous with them which they think is playing which causes them to overplay and hurt him in no malicious way. If they’d become too boisterous, he ends up but nearly hurting them by being over boisterous himself. Rosie can become incredibly anxious, she barks at people knocking on the door, she jumps in the window to bark at them and is generally nervous. She was nervous since we first had her and when he plays with her it can sometimes scare her and she can become defensive and nip at him. Ralph has recently started to not like being told to do as he’s told and on occasions has muzzled both me and my husband. I cannot say that he has bit anybody because he hasn’t. But he has almost tried to show who his boss in the household, especially to me when my husband isn’t in. They are very loving Dogs they have never been aggressive or bitten anybody but Rosie has nipped and Ralph has muzzled and we just can’t trust having them around our son who also has behavioural issues. We would love for them to go as a pair and an incredibly upset at the fact that we have to try and find them there for Home. Someone who has had the breed before doesn’t have any young children and can give them plenty of walking time would be ideal. Please get in touch if you would like some more information or have any questions we are not asking for much for them because we would much rather them go to but we want people to be serious about having them we will be fully vetting everyone who contact us. I look forward to hearing from you.
